The “Boom Bus” rolled back into Tempe on Tuesday morning when four-star cornerback recruit Alex Perry committed to Arizona State.
Perry is the brother of current ASU safety Armand Perry, a big reason why he chose the Sun Devils over Arizona, Boise State and Oregon State, among others.
Hailing from the heralded Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Perry had originally decided on ASU before reopening his commitment earlier this year.
The Sun Devils have experienced a resurgence with recruiting after landing former Alabama quarterback Blake Barnett last week. ASU had gone four and a half months without getting a commitment.
Although it is unknown how much he will play, if at all, next season, Perry will at the very least add secondary depth to a group that is in dire need of it.
