The Pac-12 announced Tuesday its annual All-Conference teams for the 2020 football season, and multiple Arizona State Sun Devils found their names on it.

Most notably, sophomore offensive lineman Dohnovan West and junior punter Michael Turk were selected to the Pac-12’s All-Conference First Team.

Turk’s 47.2 yard average per punt was 11th in the country this season.  It also served as a career high.  West was a starter throughout the shortened season for the Sun Devils, and was named the Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week following ASU’s 70-7 win over Arizona two weeks ago.

The sophomore guard was also named to the Outland Trophy Watch List prior to the start of the 2020 season.

The Pac-12’s All-Conference Second Team featured ASU senior cornerback Chase Lucas and junior defensive lineman Tyler Johnson, along with freshman running back/defensive back D.J. Taylor as a return specialist.

Lucas played in all four games for the Sun Devils in 2020, recording 15 tackles and five pass deflections.  Johnson had 16 tackles – 7.5 of them for loss – and five sacks in ASU’s four games.  Three of his sacks were against UCLA in the Sun Devils’ 25-18 loss on Dec. 5.

In his eight returns on the season, Taylor averaged 34.9 yards per return and began ASU’s Territorial Cup win over Arizona by taking the opening kickoff 104 yards for a touchdown.

Five Sun Devils were named to the Honorable Mention category by the Pac-12: senior offensive lineman Kellen Diesch, senior defensive back Evan Fields, junior running back Rachaad White, junior defensive lineman Jermayne Lole and junior linebacker Kyle Soelle.

Additionally, freshman running back Chip Trayanum was named an Honorable Mention as the Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year Award.  Trayanum rushed for 290 yards on 49 attempts in 2020 while scoring four touchdowns in 2020.
