Four-star quarterback recruit, Brady White, has signed grant-in-aid paperwork and plans to enroll at Arizona State in January.
After receiving scholarship offers from 16 other schools, including Louisville, Penn State, Arizona and Oregon, White’s signing and his decision to enroll in school early, likely makes his commitment to the Sun Devils official.
White is ranked as the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the 2015 class, according to Rivals.com. He becomes the highest ranked QB to commit to ASU since the emergence of internet recruiting in 2002, per Doug Haller of azcentral sports. He is also one of the highest-ranked recruits head coach Todd Graham has ever landed.
White is currently finishing his stay at Hart High School in Newhall, Calif., a school that has become a feeding ground to Pac-12 powerhouses.
The 6-foot-two, 186-pound phenom has drawn rave reviews from his quarterback coach, Steve Clarkson:
“One look at Brady White and there is no doubt that he reminds you of what the great quarterbacks of the past were made of,” Clarkson stated on his website. “Brady brings a perfect hybrid of old school flare with modern day playmaking ability. Brady was born to impress…with a release like Joe Namath, and pocket presence like Aaron Rodgers, you will be hearing his name for years to come.”
Considering the fact that Clarkson is a nationally renowned quarterback coach who has developed the likes of Ben Roethlisberger, Jake Locker, Terrell Pryor and EJ Manuel, those words carry significant weight.
