Meet the Team

Our Team

Our team is comprised of only students of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication

Troy Tauscher

Executive Producer
Troy Tauscher is in his second semester as executive producer and his sixth semester of involvement with Cronkite Sports Live. He started from the very bottom of the organization and worked his way up to managing WCSN’s flagship show. Along with producing, Troy can also be found covering NBA and ASU basketball and softball, or yelling at whatever piece of technology is broken that day. Above all, Troy’s proudest accomplishment is breaking a two-year chain of executive producers whose names start with the letter “B.”

Alexandra Cook

Associate Producer
Alexandra Cook is a freshman at ASU who is double majoring in sports journalism at the Cronkite School and statistics. She has been involved with State Press as a videographer, the Walter Cronkite Sports Network as associate producer, and photographer/writer for Fashion Journalism Club. Alexandra has experience working behind the scenes in the news room and in the edit bays creating packages and graphics. She is passionate about her work, has meticulous attention to detail and is determined to put forth all her effort into producing her best work. Alexandra has aspirations of become a technical producer or director for a sports news network. Even though she is often behind the scenes, do not underestimate her knowledge of the game.

Nicholas Badders

Technical Producer & Director
Nicholas Badders is a sophomore sports journalism student at the Cronkite School with aspirations of become a professional baseball play-by-play broadcaster. He has been involved with the Walter Cronkite Sports Network since he stepped foot on campus, having served as as an associate producer for Cronkite Sports Live in the spring as a freshman and has since risen to become the club’s President. Badders can be found in front of and behind the camera, either as talent on the show, in the control room directing or in the edit bays working on graphics for the show.
