Arizona State’s wrestling team (4-8) has struggled since the start of the new year, losing in five out of their eight dual meets.

The No. 24 Sun Devils look to bounce back against Stanford (6-1) from their pair of weekend losses in Pennsylvania at the hands of No. 23 Lock Haven (6-2) and No. 20 Lehigh (6-8).

Rankings are based off of Intermatwrestle.com’s Jan. 29 rankings.

ASU wrestling travels to northern California to take on Pac-12 foe Stanford in Palo Alto.

One of the key matchups in this dual meet will be between the Pac-12’s top ranked 157 pounders in Stanford’s No. 18 Dominick Mandarino and ASU’s No. 17 Christian Pagdilao.

ASU defeated Stanford 24-15 last season at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Sun Devils are looking to gain some momentum by defeating the Cardinal before their clash against No. 6 Missouri Tigers on Feb. 8.
