The Arizona State women’s basketball team is on a two game win streak after dropping the first Pac-12 conference game against No. 10 Stanford. ASU hopes to carry its hot streak into Boulder, Colorado against the 11-3 Buffalos.
Colorado University has lost three of its last four games and is off to a 1-2 start in conference play. The Buffalos and the Sun Devils have both played the now No. 24 ranked Kentucky Wildcats earlier this season; Colorado beat them by 10 points while ASU only won by 2 in overtime.
The Sun Devils, on the other hand, has won its last two by double digits after losing in their conference opener. They beat California 72-62 in double overtime and blew out Utah by 22 points.
ASU is dealing with the injury of Kelsey Moos who is projected to be out for a month. Moos hurt her plantar fascia in the final minute against the Cal Bears. Moos has been an everyday starter for the Sun Devils this season. The team will depend even more than usual on their bench players to provide scoring to make up for this loss. Robbie Ryan stepped up last game starting in Moos’ place and scoring an impressive 10 points.
The Sun Devils and the Buffalos will tip off at 4:00 p.m. MST at the Coors Event Center. The game will be available via online on the ASU Live Stream.
