The No. 10 Arizona State Sun Devils look to continue their undefeated start to the 2015 season as they take on the 7-2 Gonzaga Bulldogs on Sunday.

The upcoming match will be the second in a 9-game stretch for the Sun Devils at home that goes through early October.

The Sun Devils are coming off a four-set victory against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, and haven’t played since.

The Bulldogs will come into Tempe having already played three games over the previous two days. They played Grand Canyon, Niagara, and Southern Utah in a tournament hosted by GCU. The Bulldogs had the best outcome they could possibly have for both confidence and general fatigue winning all three games by way of sweeps.

Both teams come in averaging over 13 kills a game. Redshirt senior opposite Savannah Blinn looks to go toe to toe with Sun Devil senior standout Macey Gardner. Blinn is averaging a whopping 4.26 kills per set while Gardner leads the way for the Sun Devils at 2.88 a set.

The Sun Devils lead the NCAA in blocks averaging 3.7 per set. Senior middle blockers Whitney Follette and Mercedes Binns lead the team averaging 1.67 and 1.62 blocks respectively, and junior outside hitter BreElle Bailey has a tally of 1.46 per set. In contrast, Gonzaga redshirt juniors Imani Wimbush and Paige Folger average a combined to average 2.62 blocks per set.

The match is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, and will be streamed live online by the Pac-12 Network.
