ASU Swimming: Richard Bohus qualifies for the Olympic Games

This week was probably one of the most successful weeks for Richard Bohus, the star ASU swimmer and Hungarian international. At the LEN European Championships in London, Bohus swam a 48.92 in the 100-meter freestyle, which is under the Olympic A qualifying standard of 48.99. Only two swimmers can go in one event, but right now, Bohus is the leading candidate to swim the 100-meter freestyle for his country this summer.

Bohus has already been to the Olympics when he qualified for the games in London four years ago, but his story continues to impress people. Back in September, he broke both his arms in a bicycle accident, and had to get surgery on his left wrist. When he came back from injury, he was spectacular. He broke multiple ASU school records in backstroke and relay events. Now he prepares for another run at an Olympic dream.
