Arizona State (6-2) aims to go 5-0 at home after facing Furman (5-1) on Saturday as it wraps up a four-game home stand.
The Sun Devils are on a three-game win streak after claiming a narrow victory over Vanderbilt with a final score of 16-15. While Furman started the season 5-0, it tallied a loss for the first time in the 2025 season Sunday against the University of Maryland Baltimore.
After being kept goalless against Mercer for the second time this season, junior attacker Lydia Oldknow found the back of the net three times against Vanderbilt. Oldknow currently has 21 goals on the season, putting her second on the team in goals.
Junior attacker Jordyn Behar, who leads ASU in points and assists, was named Big 12 Attacker of the Week. Against Vanderbilt, she earned seven points, including four goals and three assists. Behar sits at the top of the stats sheet in points and assists with 46 and 30, respectively.
Another Sun Devil who continues to be consistent at finding the back of the net is also junior attacker Teagan Ng. In the contest, she scored four times, making that her sixth hat trick of the season in eight games played.
While the Sun Devils have not experienced any conference play so far, Katie Vahle is already making noise as a top goaltender in the Big 12. Vahle leads the Big 12 in save percentage with .488. Vahle also leads the Big 12 in saves per game at 10.38.
Against Vanderbilt, Vahle played the full 60 minutes. On 30 shots faced, she allowed 15 and made seven saves with a save percentage of .318.
While at home, Arizona State has outscored opponents 66-38 in the four games so far in front of the Inferno.
The leading goal scorer for the Paladins is senior attacker Anna Roser. Through six games played, Roser has had multi-goal games in all of them for 26 goals on the season.
She also slots into the second-leading scorer on the team with a total of 28 points. Along with her 26 goals, Roser has two assists on the season.
Another strong offensive force for the Paladins is senior midfielder Paige Harman. Harman’s impacts can be seen both in the assists and goals column.
Harman currently leads the Paladins in points with 32 and leads in assists with 16. Harman slots into the third spot on the team in goals with 16.
While Harman is not a consistent starter for Furman, in every matchup so far this season, she has had multi-goal games. On top of that, Harman has also recorded at least three points in every contest as well.
This 6-2 start for the Sun Devils is the best start to the season they have had since the 2021 season, where they also started the season 6-2.
This matchup will be a great test for ASU as the Paladins are the first opponent at home with a winning record.
