Following the cancellation of its game against Florida A&M due to a power outage at Desert Financial Arena, Arizona State Men’s Basketball has had two more games postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Sun Devils were set to play No. 5 UCLA and undefeated No. 8 USC in Los Angeles on Thursday and Saturday respectively this week, however, the Trojans and Bruins are unable to field a squad of cleared players.

ASU’s last game was on Dec. 19, where it lost 66-65 to San Francisco.

ASU is no stranger to having games canceled or postponed. During the 2020-21 season, the Sun Devils had games canceled or postponed three separate times.

The Sun Devils are now currently slated to play next on Jan. 8, when they host rival Arizona in Tempe. The game will tip between noon and 2 p.m. MST and the final tip time will be set at a later date.

Rescheduled dates for the two games against the LA schools will be announced once agreed upon by the opponents and the Pac-12 Conference.
