Arizona State gymnastics (2-6, 0-3 Pac-12) will return home on Saturday to take on the Stanford Cardinal (5-6, 2-2 Pac-12) at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Gym Devils are coming off a season-best 195.150 against the then-No. 17 Washington Huskies. Despite the Gym Devils posting season-highs in three events, the Huskies ultimately topped the Gym Devils with a 196.750 total.

ASU earned its first 49.0+ score on an event this season after hitting a 49.025 on the floor exercise. The Devils counted all five scores at 9.775 or higher. Sophomore Katelyn Lentz earned a season-high and tied her career-high score with a 9.850. Freshman Mekayla Jones also posted a career-high score of 9.800.

The Gym Devils hit season-highs on beam and bars as well. They earned a 48.900 on the balance beam thanks in part to Christopherson’s career-best 9.875 and senior Beka Conrad’s season-high 9.800. The season-best 48.675 on bars was once again led by Christopherson who scored a 9.800.

Christopherson posted a career-high 39.025 in the all-around competition, earning second place behind Washington’s Haley Burleson.

The Cardinal are traveling to Tempe after a loss to then-No. 5 UCLA. Stanford lost to the Bruins 198.125-194.175, and it was without junior All-American Elizabeth Price, who was out with an injury.

Stanford hit a season-high 49.300 on vault which was led by freshman Aleeza Yu’s career-high 9.925. The Cardinal struggled on bars and floor, but senior Danielle McNair posted a high 9.825 on bars while senior Rachel Daum tied her season-high 9.850 on floor. Stanford bounced back on beam thanks to all five gymnasts earning a 9.750 or higher. Freshman Ashley Tai scored a 9.800 to lead the Cardinal.

The meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Saturday and will be live on the Pac-12 Network.
