Arizona State Football has suspended senior cornerback Jack Jones and junior safety Aashari Crosswell indefinitely for team conduct reasons, according to Doug Haller of The Athletic.
Jones had been a starter for the Sun Devils in its first game against USC on Nov. 7, and had five tackles in ASU’s 28-27 loss to the Trojans.
The senior, who transferred to ASU from USC prior to the 2019-20 season, had 46 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in his first season with the Sun Devils last fall. As a junior in 2017, Jones had 40 tackles for the Trojans before being dismissed from the team in the spring of 2018 due to academic issues.
Crosswell had seen his role decrease when the season opened in Los Angeles, as the junior safety recorded zero statistics on limited snaps against USC. As a freshman in 2018, Crosswell finished third in the Pac-12 with four interceptions.
