ASU’s League of Legends Support player Brindon “Breezyyy” Keesey, was signed today by North American team 100 Thieves.
100 Thieves is one of the premier esports organizations in the world, run by former Call of Duty professional Matthew “Nadeshot” Hagg and backed financially by the likes of Dan Gilbert, Owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and multi-platinum artist, Drake.
Keesey finished Season 9 ranked in the top 30 in North America, and was the highest-ranked player on the ASU squad. He will now play for 100 Thieves’ Academy team and can no longer play in the College LCS with ASU.
100 Thieves has made some big offseason moves on their pro team, revamping their entire bottom lane lineup. 100 Thieves just brought up Academy support player William “Stunt” Chen to start over seasoned veteran Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black. Keesey was signed to fill Stunt’s spot on a 100 Thieves team that won the Academy championship last year.
The signing was announced on Monday morning on the 100 Thieves and ASU League of Legends Twitter pages.
